artist statement

Material, alchemy, fragments, feedback loops, loss. My work is a long-term investigation into the continuous fragmentation, breakdown, and reconstruction of material. Reference to time/earth/fossil/preservation/excavation, and archive. Process. I am interested in the preservation and provocation of memory attached to object explored through synesthetic encryption in material-visual language.
